Two Years Ago, I was Publicly Shamed...

Today marks my 60th day of consistently posting videos again about life and motivation.

"Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people.” - Carl Jung

Two years ago, I was publicly shamed on social media and even got roasted on a radio station.

It didn't turn out well but that moment was a huge paradigm shift in my life.

And putting myself out there again and jumping inside the pool was not an easy decision to make.

To be honest, there were mixed emotions, jitters, and excitement.

I created this post to share with you the things that I learned from this emotional rollercoaster experience.

1. Start and learn along the way.

I feel you...

Getting started is the most challenging part because we are facing a lot of uncertainties.

Here's a confession, up until this moment, I'm still not comfortable when it comes to speaking in front of a camera, and my English grammar still isn't good.

BUT you have to consistently remind yourself that practice creates confidence and confidence will massively empower you.

Embrace your flaws and be comfortable with them.

2. In life, you can't please everyone, and you can't make everyone like you.

Anytime you boldly put yourself out there and try to do something unique, you’ll always have haters.

And that's completely fine.

Just do everything in your power to improve and use that as fuel to COME BACK STRONGER!

Make criticism your fuel, not your kryptonite.

Now, you might be asking why am I still creating videos and sharing them on social media.

Here's my third lesson...

3. Know yourself more and stick with your higher purpose.

Go back to your center and contemplate.

Continue sharing your message, let your voice be heard, and STAY AUTHENTIC.

Eventually, you will attract the right people.

If you are passionate about what you are doing, it will shine through, and everyone who reads or watches your content will recognize that burning passion within and respect you for it.

I'll end this by sharing this quote from Myles Munroe:

"The greatest tragedy in life is not death, but it is a life without a purpose.”

Let's live life with a higher purpose and serve humanity. Thank you to everyone who supported my journey!

I hope this helps.

Love. Jerom

Lessons I learned from my Mentor...

As all of you have noticed, I've been on social media hiatus before... The truth is, my greatest fear in life is wasting it, so I grabbe...
